ABOUT ME

Vibrant colours, strength and simplified bold shapes describe the artwork of West Coast artist Tina Flux. Her graphic style showcases the beauty found in nature.  It’s her humble tribute to our beautiful planet. She is a landscape painter and mostly works with acrylic on canvas.

Tina is from British Columbia, Canada. She is a self-taught artist and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia.  She has participated in extensive workshops taught directly from admired artists. She lives in Gibsons with her husband, daughter, son and two dogs.

As a child, she remembers her parent’s house full of her grandmother’s art work. She remembers carefully looking at the brushtrokes of the thick impasto oil paint on each painting and wondering how she managed to create such masterpieces. Tina keeps these treasured memories in a special place in her heart.

Her paintings have been collected across Canada, the USA, Europe and the middle East.
