I double majored in Linguistics and Speech Science at the University of British Columbia. I should be able to clearly say what I need to say through writing. But truthfully, I spend hours writing a paragraph. Including this one. I’ll rewrite it over and over. It just never sounds right. Stiff and unnatural.
What I’ve learnt is I don’t always need words to express myself. I can say what I need to say with paint. When I realized that, my world became better.
